I’m an artist from Connecticut who also spent many years in Los Angeles. I grew up around artists and designers. My first job was in summer stock theater, and I eventually found my way into special effects makeup and costuming for the film industry. But it took me years to be confident enough to take on the title of artist for myself.

Healing and reconnecting with my art practice have played a significant role in my life in the last few years. A sense of community is such an important part of both and has really helped me grow as an artist. I reconnected with my art practice through an online community of artists. The collaboration and support that came out of being connected with a community have given me the courage to grow, explore, and express myself with greater confidence. 

I work in mixed media with a focus on painting and drawing and am currently focusing on the themes of connection and isolation.
