Hi there!

I’m Megan, a UX Designer from Connecticut, who also spent many years in Los Angeles. I grew up in a family of artists, poets, and designers, and spent many hours as a kid in bookstores and art galleries. From working in professional theatre during college to taking creative writing workshops for my master’s degree, storytelling has always been an important part of my life.

I’ve always found myself in service roles, whether it’s on a special effects crew testing, iterating, and shipping products to set, or as an executive assistant empathizing with concerned stakeholders. My curiosity and empathetic thinking have always helped me identify and solve problems creatively.

When I’m not listening to UX podcasts, researching, or sketching, I’m playing with my dogs, painting in my makeshift studio, or watching a horror movie with my husband.

Why UX design?

I love collaborating with people to solve puzzles. I find a thrill in identifying the most useful and delightful solutions to pain points and constraints. My experience has taught me the importance of identifying people’s needs and presenting solutions clearly.

I’m passionate about the intersection of science and art. And I have 10 years of experience adhering to the needs and goals of the organization.

I’m deeply fascinated by people, how they think, and why they behave the way they do. I love being able to help people solve problems.
